dharavi rocks

From now on my posts are going to be a little more exotic, as they're going to be coming to you from Mumbai, India!

I'm here doing a 10 week residency with Creative Scotland and Live Music Now! at BlueFROG, the city's most exciting music venue. While I'm here I'll be working with young people in Dharavi slum, sandwiched between Mumbai's two main railway lines and home to over 1 million people. More info to come! Also I'll be introducing some music to some younger children as part of BlueFROG's MiniFROG brunch on a Sunday.

Laura at the Lyceum!

So some exciting news - Next week I start an early years workshop at the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh. An hour's fun and music on Wednesday mornings for 2 to 4 year olds and their parents. We're off on a musical round the world adventure - so don't miss out!

Christmas Concert

As it's cold and snowy outside I have a special treat to cheer everyone up! My Christmas concert. Specially for my pupils and their families...19th December in Smailholm Village Hall at 4pm!

It costs £1 entry on the door and there will be mince pies and tea served...YUM YUM!

Youth Music Initiative

Michael and I have just finished a very successful residency in nurseries in Moffat and Edinburgh in collaboration with the Scottish Arts Council Youth Music Initiative and Live Music Now! We finished off our 12 week stint with a round the world performance from us and the kids in edinburgh which was very well received. To book us for a nursery project get in touch.
